Interested in Becoming One of Fair Lawn's Bravest?
The Fair Lawn Volunteer Fire Department is just that, VOLUNTEER! We are a 100% Volunteer Fire Department and we need your help. Hundreds of men and women have proudly served the Department in it's 95+ year history. Now is your oppurtunity to join the bravest men and women in Fair Lawn. All required training will be provided and paid for by by the Borough of Fair Lawn, so no need to worry. With two levels of membership, we are currently looking for anyone whom is 16 years or older for junior membership and 18 years or older for regular membership. You must live or work in the Borough of Fair Lawn or live in one of the immediately contiguous towns (Paterson, Hawthorne, Glen Rock, Paramus, Saddle Brook or Elmwood Park). You must also be able to pass a basic medical physical. There are some other minor requirements that must be satisfied which we can discuss.
